Marlene, Hi again, I think we both have been absent from Faa for awhile...I love your masterful approach to this abstracted tree. You know that you really are a VERY GIFTED painter, so many of the modern masters must speak to your inward heart, because I am always amazed to see Dufy,Braque, Bonnard and so many other great masters hidden within your colors and brushwork. And thank you for truly seeing the significance of my Torah scribe. I love to tackle these important and significant pieces....blessings to you, and happy spring..your friend Carole

"......Try it and see what actually takes place when you observe the tree with all your being, with the totality of your energy. In that intensity you will find that there is no observer at all; there is only attention. It is when there is inattention that there is the observer and the observed. When you are looking at something with complete attention there is no space for a conception, a formula or a memory. This is important to understand because we are going into something which requires very careful investigation. It is only a mind that looks at a tree or the stars or the sparkling waters of a river with complete self-abandonment that knows what beauty is, and when we are actually seeing we are in a state of love....." jk Think on Those Thing" :) Pink and Blue are symphony here!
